The Healing and Creative Arts of Dance. Exercises are derived from contemporary dance improvisation and Skinner Releasing Techniques, from Colour Healing, and the practice of Mindfulness.
The dance evolves from a visualisation or simply from mindfulness; depending on the exercises given. Light touch is integrative and essential to the sessions.
Mindfulness Meditation. Open to all who wish to learn simple yet effective techniques to manage stress, and increase inner-Peace.
Can I benefit from Sky Dance? Yes, if you enjoy dancing, if you are in need of physical exercises with a gentle, fun and creative approach; or if you are seeking to integrate meditative discipline with creative movement; also if you are an artist or writter disolving "creative blocks" or a performer wishing to improve the depth of your movement; or again if you simply need to unwind and gain a sense of well-being, and inner-Peace.
Canterbury:
We are based at the Canterbury Pilates Studio 33, St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury CT2 8BZ; to access our studio, go to Car Park, walk through the arch on the left handside of car park; the Studio is within building on the right.
Tuesdays: DANCE & MOVEMENT IMPRO: 12-1pm. Pre-bookings after first session essential: £7.50 for first session, and £40 for 6 hourly sessions then after.
- Morning & Afternoon Saturdays Monthly Workshops and private sessions are again taking place at The Canterbury Pilates Studio will start in September 2010.

Classes are usually suspended during the half-term and school holidays; so our next session, on Tuesday 27th July will be the last until September 14th. Have a great summer; be well, be happy.

Bring a cushion for the MEDITATION session if you wish. For DANCE session, you will need comfortable clothes and soft shoes (if you do not want to dance barefoot). Suitable for all who enjoy dancing.
